Hip Hop Dance Music

Soulja Boy, Fat Joe... shit even Kid n Play. Dance has been an important part of hip hop music for as long as hip hop has been music. Everybody put your hands in the air and wave them like you just dont care. Call and response. If you ever want to rock a mic in front of a crowd and want people to actually feel you and have a good time this is an integral part of hip hop.

A lot of people hate on that Soulja Boy joint and say "he is whats killing hip hop." From the dawn of hip hop time artist have been saying " do this dance," and people have been doing it, and having a dope time at the club. Backpackers need to get off their ass and actually go to the club. Nobody plays Sage Francis at the club, because that shit is not club worthy. By the way: Fuck Sage Francis.

Cali Swag District, with that Teach me how to Dougie shit... that shit is hilariously awesome. The way that I look at it, and the way that I look at a lot of things is: "You don't watch an Arnold movie because of the deep engrossing plot, you watch it because that shit is just entertaining." That can be easily applied to music as well. You don't listen to artists like Cali Swag District because you are expecting super lyricism. You listen to that because it sounds dope. Hip Hop is about having fun. Always has, and always will. Soulja Boy didn't kill hip hop... You did.
